JAMES Tomlinson became the third bowler to take a five-wicket haul as Durham set Hampshire 240 to win their LV County Championship Division One clash at Basingstoke.
After Dimitri Mascarenha's five for 46 and Mark Davies' eight for 24, Tomlinson's figures of five for 62 in an extremely low-scoring match helped bowl Durham out for 179 in their second innings, with Imran Tahir grabbing four wickets in support.
But that total was enough for a daunting lead after the hosts slumped to 96 all out in their first innings, thanks to Davies' brilliant performance.
