Public meetings at Spennymoor, Ferryhill, Middleton-in-Teesdale and Bishop Auckland over hospital proposals

RESIDENTS will be asked for their input on a major overhaul of hospitals in County Durham and Darlington.

The 14-week consultation process for changes to services offered by Bishop Auckland General Hospital, Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham will continues.

The Spennymoor meeting will take place from 2pm to 4pm in the town's Leisure Centre on Tuesday.

That evening, a meeting will be held in Ferryhill Leisure Centre from 6pm to 8pm.

On Wednesday, from 6pm to 8pm, the consultations will begin at Middleton-in-Teesdale Village Hall On Thursday, from 6pm to 8pm a meeting will be held in Auckland Castle, Bishop Auckland. For this meeting, anyone requiring wheelchair access should 0800-121-4874.

Places at these public meetings are limited, so those wishing to attend should register their place by emailing comments@seizingthefuture.org.uk or by calling 0800-121-4874.
