Road closed as man badly injured in two car smash

A MAN suffered serious head injuries following a two car collision yesterday morning.
The man from the Northallerton area is being treated in hospital following the incident, which happened shortly before 7am on Saturday on the A167 between Darlington and Croft.
The road was closed for several hours with traffic diverted through Hurworth village while police investigated the scene.
Another male, from Darlington, was also hurt although his injuries are not thought to be as serious.
