I REALLY enjoy elevator music.
When I am standing in a lift, I find it almost impossible to keep still as the booming Hammond organ grooves keep me company as I travel from floor to floor. The gentle, funky instrumental tones of elevator muzak always bring a big grin to my face.
Even when I am on the telephone to the bank and awaiting assistance from a telephone operator, I struggle to keep sane as the subtle musical notes echo down the phone. It is no wonder that I feel relaxed and chilled as I await the outcome of my bank statement.
It is only after the call that I usually faint.
