The second show, 45 Minutes, will be performed at Venue 260 at 3.10pm on from August 6 to 11 before transferring to Venue 45 perform daily at 1.25pm from August 13 to 18.

Jill Cole, director of The Turrets, said: "Taking part in the Edinburgh Fringe is a fantastic experience for these young people.

"They get the chance to see top quality performances from all over the world, as well as being part of the whole experience and helping to promote their own show. It's something they will remember forever."

A preview of 45 Minutes will be performed at The Witham Hall in Barnard Castle on Tuesday, July 31 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £3.50 and can be bought on the door or by calling Chris Best 01833-631107.
