A BREWERY will be turned into a hotel in a £1.5m project.
The derelict building, near the White Bear, in Masham, North Yorkshire, owned by Theakstons, will become a hotel and conference centre.
The hotel will have 13 rooms, a penthouse suite, residents' lounge, function room and two meeting rooms.
It is due to be opened this summer.
The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has provided financial support for the conversion.
Simon Theakston, managing director of Theakstons, said: "Theakstons has been established for many years and we are proud of its rich heritage.
"The new hotel premises at White Bear will fit well with the company's hospitality vision, and the location is perfect for the flourishing tourist trade. We are grateful for the backing and support from RBS on this project."
