HUNDREDS of British Airways managers will leave the airline at the end of the year after applying for voluntary severance, it was announced yesterday.
The company said 450 of the 1,400 managers entitled to apply had taken up the offer by last night’s deadline.
BA said last month it was offering redundancy packages to managers as part of its drive to cut costs, although no target figure was given.
